Taylor Mancini

Hello! I have been a part of the Jefferson Cheer program for 9 years now. I cheered on JV for one year and varsity for five years. I was a part of the 2013 National Championship team and was a varsity captain in 2014. After high school, I attended the University of Minnesota and graduated in the spring of 2018. I started coaching at Jefferson my junior year in college. This will be my fourth-year coaching at Jefferson. I have recently been accepted to the University of St. Thomas School of Law and will be attending in the fall of 2020.

Rachel Brown

Hi! My name is Rachel Brown and this is my first year coaching at Jefferson and I couldn’t be more excited!  I was a part of the Jefferson Cheer Program for four years before I graduated in 2015 and then I’ve cheered at the University of Minnesota Duluth for the past four years.  I will be graduating from UMD in May with two degrees in Journalism and Communications.  At UMD, I was the captain for our football, basketball, and competition cheerleading teams and President of the Cheerleading Sports Club at UMD.  After eight years of cheer as an athlete I’m not ready to be done so I cannot wait to continue my love for cheer at the coach level now!  In my free time you can find me hanging with my family and friends or working out.  I’m very excited to be back in the JHS Cheer Program and can’t wait to get this season started!

Jennifer Johnson

Hi! My name is Jennifer Johnson and this is my second year coaching with the JHS Cheer Program, however, I was a JHS Cheerleader myself on both sideline and varsity competition teams all throughout high school. After graduating high school in 2009, I continued my cheerleading career at the University of Minnesota Duluth until graduation in 2012. I then continued my passion for cheerleading on the co-ed exhibition all-star team at Planet Spirit Elite for three years. In my free time, outside of work, I like to work out/attend yoga classes, spend time outside, and snuggle with my dog, Zoey. I am excited and eager to see what this season has to offer!

Hanna Brua

Hello! My name is Hanna Brua and this is my third year coaching at Jefferson. I am an alumni of the JHS Cheer Program and graduated in 2017! I had the amazing opportunity to receive the second National Title, in the Game Day Division, for Jefferson Cheer in 2017. I am currently a full-time student at Normandale Community College. Outside of cheer, I enjoy being with loved ones and working. I’m honored that I get to chance to share my love for cheerleading with others. Can’t wait for my next season with Middle School Jags!

Abbie Becker

Hi! My name is Abbie Becker, this is going to be my first year coaching cheer but I couldn’t be more excited! I cheered for Jefferson for 4 years, gained 2 national titles, and graduated in 2018! After graduation I did a semester at the University of Northern Colorado but now I’m back home and working. In my free time I enjoy being outside, being with friends, and working out. I’m so excited to get back into cheer again and I can’t wait for the season to start!

Jamie Wild

Hi! I am Jamie Wild and I am a proud alumni of both Jefferson High School and the JHS cheerleading program. I graduated high school in 2008 and went on to the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University where I graduated in 2012 as an elementary education major.  I am currently a full-time teacher in the Minneapolis Public School district. I have been coaching cheerleading in Maple Grove in both their high school and elementary program for the past 5 years and am excited to come back to Jefferson to start a new coaching chapter. I especially look forward to connecting back with the community that gave me so much.  In my free time you can find me exercising, spending time with my family or eating out at a new restaurant.  I look forward to continuing to build the JHS cheer program with an elementary cheer team.
